This job will have the following responsibilities:

• Design and develop innovative security solutions and controls, tailored to our unique environment, to bolster our defense against evolving threats.


• Collaborate closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into robust security solutions that meet our needs.


• Evaluate, deploy, and configure state-of-the-art security tools and technologies, providing invaluable expertise to our Information Technology Teams.


• Partner with vendors and internal teams to conduct assessments and optimize security solutions, maximizing their value and effectiveness.


• Stay at the forefront of security trends, threats, and technologies, continually researching and recommending enterprise-level security products and technologies.


• Lead the implementation and deployment of enterprise security solutions, ensuring seamless integration and functionality.


• Create comprehensive documentation and provide training to relevant teams to support the deployment and maintenance of security solutions.


• Lead escalated Incident Response activities as a Subject Matter Expert, guiding our response through the Incident Response life cycle.


• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve common security objectives and drive security initiatives forward.


• Provide guidance and support to peers and junior staff, fostering a culture of continuous learning and growth.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• 6-8 years of combined hands-on Information security experience.


• Strong expertise in operating systems, networking, cloud, and security platforms tools.


• Experience securing cloud workloads, particularly in Azure, and implementing security controls in a cloud-native or hybrid architecture.


• Robust knowledge of information security management frameworks and technical expertise in security operations.


• Proficiency in scripting and programming languages, such as Python or PowerShell.


• Familiarity with OWASP and integrating security controls into DevOps and Developer pipelines.


• Experience with common information security management frameworks, MITRE ATT&CK, NIST Cyber Security Framework, NIST 800-53, CIS Critical Security Controls, International Standards Organization ISO 27001, ISO 27002
