Job Description:
Location: Jersey City, NJ
Salary: $90,000.00 USD Annually - $110,000.00 USD Annually
Description: Our client is currently seeking a Sr. Accountant for a permanent/direct hire position that sits onsite in Jersey City, NJ 2-3 days per week.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Manage day-to-day activities related to general accounting, P&L and balance sheet, AP and AR
- Prepare various sales reports for submission to external parties.
- Prepare journal entries and adjustments for period-end closing, including inventory accounting, lease accounting.
- Prepare financial statements and reports in compliance with US GAAP and IFRS.
- 5 or more years of experience in finance and accounting
- Understanding of US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and IFRS
- Bachelor's Degree in accounting, finance or equivalence.
