Location: REMOTE

Salary: $80,000.00 USD Annually - $120,000.00 USD Annually

Remote USA is OK


No C2C at this time or sponsorship


Salary up to 140K plus bonus


Install, Upgrade, and support Golden Gate software.


• Works with Oracle Database 19c and any future release.


• Identifies and solve complex problems proactively and lead effective solutions implementation.


• Performs system maintenance, Backup and Recover, support active Data Guard for DR, and quarterly patching.


• Continuously learns new tools and environments and acquire new skills to maintain and enhance job performance.


• Provides the appropriate implementation documentation for installs.


• Supports implementation and post-implementation activities.


MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:


• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent experience


• Minimum of 5 years' experience working with Golden Gate and Oracle DB.


• Strong knowledge of OEM.


• A thorough knowledge of Oracle RDBMS 19c and above, including ASM, OEM, RMAN, Data Guard and Data Pump, all running on Exadata.


• Strong knowledge of Oracle Database monitoring and tuning using OEM and AWR.


• Strong knowledge of Database Backup and recovery using RMAN backups.


• Strong knowledge of SQL and PL/SQL.


• Strong knowledge of Linux Operating System, SUSE, RedHat, and Oracle Enterprise Linux with shell scripting knowledge.


• Identify and resolve poorly executing SQL (high reads/execution counts/extended runtimes).


• Working knowledge of Golden Gate is highly desirable.


• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.


• Project Management and strong analytical skills are also desired.


• Experience in any of the following areas is a plus.
