We are seeking a full-time Warehouse Coordinator (2nd Shift) in our Olathe, KS location. In this role, you will be responsible for organizing and coordinating associates and processes in designated area and conducting activities in accordance with departmental procedures while maintaining a safe and clean work environment to any needed area within the warehouse.
Essential Functions
Coordinate daily activities in area of responsibility
Perform cycle counts as required
Operate RF device to transact and move material
Must meet quality and productivity metrics
Perform housekeeping tasks to maintain a safe work environment and comply with all safety standards, policies, and procedures/guidelines for reporting safety incidents
Ability to work variable and flexible hours including overtime
Operate in a fast-paced environment, resolve issues in a timely manner, and meet operational deadlines
Work with team members to correct the cause of the order and shipment delays
Support training of associates in accordance to warehouse procedures
Ensure all quality procedures and requirements are performed correctly
Prioritize workload in area and communicate all work load activities and issues
Communicate and resolve challenges by trouble shooting daily issues in area
A coordinator may be certified on at least one piece of equipment
Must possess the ability to bend, twist and lift up to 55 pounds while using safe lifting techniques, standing for an entire shift and walking long distances throughout the facility
Compliance with HRD-003 (Garmin's Attendance Policy)
Distribution Floor Operations:
Level load material flow through the department
Communicate and request materials/supplies to ensure timely product movement
Ability to safely and efficiently operate motorized material handling equipment such as a turret truck, reach truck, cherry pickers, counter balance and pallet walkies
Examine, sort arrange, count, store, pick, pack, and ship items for storage/or shipment in accordance with procedures
Responsible for accuracy of inventory, transactions, and material movement
Ensure First in/First Out (FIFO) and Last in/First Out (LIFO) policies are adhered to
Pack materials to ensure adequate delivery to internal and external customers
Raw Material Operations:
Pull and audit material as required for KANBAN, shop order, move order or sales order requirements
Issue and transact material requested through material withdrawal forms
Receive, transact and sort inbound material
Responsible for accuracy of inventory, transactions, and material movement
Ensure First in/First Out (FIFO) and Last in/First Out (LIFO) policies are adhered to
Pack materials to ensure adequate delivery to internal and external customers
Ability to safely and efficiently operate motorized material handling equipment such as a turret truck, reach truck, Order pickers, counter balance and pallet walkies
Follow Electronic Static Discharge (ESD) guidelines for static sensitive materials
Ability to safely and efficiently operate and program Vertical Lift Machine
Order Dispatch Operations:
Utilize Microsoft Office Suite and email to perform daily tasks
Use Oracle to perform daily tasks
Point of contact for the #OPS - SHIPPING email process
Communicate with various Garmin departments about order and shipping status and answer questions
Compile daily metrics and send to multiple departments within the warehouse and external departments
Compile and work the pick status report daily
Balance figures by collecting, compiling, entering, analyzing data
Assist with training and communication of problem orders and shipments
Troubleshoot and identify root cause of order and shipment delays and help implement corrective actions
Review and maintain all past due orders and work with the shipping, picking, cycle count, order administrative, international trade compliance, and finance departments
Back up for various areas of responsibilities within the Order Dispatch department
Distribution Floor Operations (Equipment Team):

Examine, sort arrange, count, store, pick, pack, and ship items for storage/or shipment in accordance with procedures
Responsible for accuracy of inventory, transactions, and material movement
Ensure First in/First Out (FIFO) and Last in/First Out (LIFO) policies are adhered to
Pack materials to ensure adequately delivery to internal and external customers
Safely and efficiently operate at least three pieces of motorized material handling equipment such as a turret truck, reach truck, cherry pickers, counter balance and pallet walkies and compliance with procedures and guidelines for reporting safety incidents
Must possess the ability to operate equipment that is design rated for operators 300 pounds or less
Basic Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED AND a minimum of 1 year warehouse or related experience
Previous experience in a coordinator, lead, supervisory and/or leadership role
Must possess previous equipment operation experience
Must possess proficiency using personal computers
Demonstrated effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Must be positive, detail oriented, organized, team oriented and a driven problem solver, multi-tasker, and self-starter with the ability to prioritize in a fast paced, deadline-driven environment
Must be fluent speaking and writing in English and understand basic math concepts
Requires the ability to bend, twist and lift up to 55 pounds while using safe lifting techniques, standing for an entire shift and walking long distances throughout the facility
Equipment Team:
Requires the ability to operate equipment that is design rated for operators 300 pounds or less
Must possess a minimum of 1 year previous equipment operation experience
