Production Painter- Cedar Falls, IA

Starting Pay: $18.44/hour.

1st Shift: 1st (5am - 3pm) Must be flexible to work overtime and work on weekends.

As a Painter, you will be a crucial part of our operations, ensuring that a quality product is available to our customers when they need them. Your work will directly affect people's lives!

Key Responsibilities

• Responsible for painting various surfaces as required in accordance with established safety procedures.


• Responsible for the preparation of various surfaces; the application of paints/stains or other finishes.


• Mixes paints and matches colors using proper proportions of pigment, oil, base, and thinner.


• Must utilize proper painting and finishing application procedures to ensure quality of work.

Qualifications

• Prior work experience in a Manufacturing setting is preferred.


• Must be able to multi-task and be detail oriented.


• Ability to climb ladders and stairs.


• Ability to follow detailed instructions and be able to record progress/procedures/steps as completed.


• Basic computer skills and ability to use computer programs, analyze data and participate in CPI projects.


• Ability to differentiate between shades and colors of products.


• Lift up to 50 pounds on a frequent basis and 80 pounds on an occasional basis.


• Ability to work in a team environment and take ownership over an area of responsibility.
