Job Description:

The Technical Specialist - 1st Shift supports operational functions, provides technical guidance, assists with the implementation of improvements, and works on departmental projects to ensure department and corporate objectives are satisfied. Job duties include:



Shift hours:



1st shift: Monday - Friday, 7:30am - 3:30amPlanning of shipments, preparation of documentation, order prioritizing, data analysis to maintain KPI targets.Create and maintain standard operating procedures for distribution and logistical proceduresMaintain and monitor IC systems for materials throughout the business cycleMonitors and audits systems and transactions to identify, correct, and prevent inaccuraciesInterprets data on reports and forms to determine correct transactions to perform on all systemsAssists manager/supervisor in identifying errors and planning a strategy to correct them and assure that they do not occur in the futureWork with supervisor to be proactive and evaluate the system to prevent Post Goods Issue errors in the futureWorks with others to brainstorm and evaluate ideas for improvementReconcile inventory discrepanciesUpdates status, quality, batch, and location in all required systemsReconciles systems and corrects data to ensure all systems agreeUse investigation tools to balance stock with appropriate adjustments/movement typesHandle error logs and workflowUse investigation tools to balance stock and appropriate adjustments/movement typesComprehension of inventory movement types and their applicationsRespond to internal users (professionally and timely) with information and trainingUses expertise and experience to answer difficult or evaluated questions from Rep, Inventory1 employees or other departmental personnelResolves questions regarding product inquiries/availability, error resolution, problem solving from Customer/Order Services (FG and Bulk), Receiving, Purchasing, QC, QA, Packaging, Selectors, and ProductionFields phone calls from internal users related to inventory, deliveries, and discrepanciesHandle inventory issues related to Customer Service pager (canceled orders, customer complaint research, delivery creation, etc.)Compile inventory information (measurements, volume) into spreadsheets, graphs, and chartsMaintain measures and on-going process improvement data while identifying trends and supplying input on causes/solutionsDaily maintenance of individual and departmental cycle count data, selection error data, customer complaint totals, and distribution center adjustment error ratesMakes suggestions for process improvements in relation to inventory accuracy and other related dutiesTrain new hires and existing employees on all procedures and procedural changesTrains new hires on all inventory control proceduresDocuments and reports progress of trainees to the manager/supervisorDevelops and maintains standard operating procedures of inventory controlMiscellaneous duties and tasks as assignedExemplary attendance and adherence to scheduleMust follow all good distribution practices (GDP), where applicable



Who You Are:




Minimum Qualifications:



High School Diploma or GED2 + years of Distribution or Warehouse experience



Preferred Qualifications:



Experience with ExcelSolid computer skills and SAP experienceStrong attention to detail3 + years Quality System Continuous Improvement experience1 + data analysis experienceStrong analytical skills RSREMD
