The Field Excellence team is responsible for supporting continuous improvement efforts at the 50+ Sales Agencies across the US along with leading improvement projects at the Arthrex Logistics Center (ALC) and INC. We are searching for an intern who is pursuing a Business or Industrial Engineering degree to support the Field Excellence team located in Naples, FL. The successful candidate will be responsible for helping to collect and analyze data in Power BI and supporting improvement projects across the multiple Field Operations functions including Loaners, Returns, Territory Operations, Audits, and Field Logistic Services. The individual will also work within the requirements of the tasks and deliver results and communicate issues in a timely manner.

This internship will run from May 2024 - August 2024. The ideal candidate will have the availability to work 40 hours per week at our Naples, FL facility.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Support development of Reverse Logistics Processes for repack/relabel of returned product.


• Support data collection and analysis from Arthrex business systems including SAP, Redspot, and Salesforce.com (AXIS).


• Utilize Power BI to analyze datasets and build meaningful business dashboards for Arthrex and Agencies.


• Attend Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Training and lead/complete an improvement project.


• Support other Field Operations teams as needed.


• This is an in-office position located in Naples, FL; it is not a remote position.

Education and Experience:

Progress towards a college degree in a related field required, preferably in Industrial Engineering or Business. (Students who have recently graduated are only eligible to work as an intern/co-op up to six months from their graduation date.)

Knowledge and Skill Requirements/Specialized Courses and/or Training preferred:

• Project Management.


• Lean Six Sigma.


• Operational Excellence.


• Power BI or equivalent.

Machine, Tools, and/or Equipment Skills:

PC; Familiarity with Microsoft Outlook; PowerPoint; Word and Excel. Fax; Scanner.
