Position Summary
This role will support a team tasked with identification, analysis and execution of contract optimization opportunities. The Advisor will investigate and perform detailed analysis of value enhancement opportunities under the supervision of the Director, Strategic Planning. She or he will help coordinate and review required deliverables from cross-functional partners in Supply Chain, Finance, IT, Sales & Account Management, Legal, etc.
This role will present her or his analyses to the Director and/or Sr. Director and the core working team so that constructive feedback, learnings as well as best practices are documented. In addition to her/his own value modeling, this person will review deliverables/analyses of our cross-functional partners and assess quality/methodology as well as provide suggestions for improvements. This person will need to be innovative and strategic as it relates to document review and modeling approach.
The expectation is that this person grows into a consultative resource for the core working team and develops the skills to interact constructively with cross-functional stakeholders. We are looking for proactive, driven self-starters. If you deal well with ambiguity and like to challenge the status quo or traditional thought, this might be the right opportunity for you. This person will hold herself or himself accountable (i.e., expected to follow through proactively with requests/deliverables). The responsibilities will not be complete upon submission of a service request. Follow-up/post implementation analysis with downstream stakeholders will be required.
Qualifications
If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.
