RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce has a client that is seeking an Azure Solution Architect in Charlotte, NC.

Summary:
As An Azure Solutions Architect, you will play a key role in designing and implementing innovative cloud solutions on the Microsoft Azure platform. They will work closely with internal partners to understand their business requirements, assess their current IT infrastructure, and develop customized cloud architectures that leverage Azure services to optimize performance & security.

Key Tasks:

• Azure Solutions Architect will partner with internal partners to define cloud adoption strategies, identify migration opportunities, and develop roadmap for Azure implementation


• Architect hybrid and other cloud solutions, integrating on-premises infrastructure with Azure services, as necessary


• Design secure and compliant cloud architectures on Azure, leveraging services such as Virtual Machines, Azure Blob Storage, Azure SQL Database, and Azure Active Directory


• As an Azure Solutions Architect, you will lead cloud migration projects, including assessment, planning, execution, and optimization phases


• Implement advanced security and compliance controls on Azure such as Azure Security Center, Azure Sentinel, and Azure Policy


• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive innovation, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement in cloud architecture practices

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field


• Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect, Expert certification


• Proven experience designing and implementing cloud solutions on the Azure platform


• Expert in cloud architecture principles, including scalability, availability, and security


• Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
