Kforce has a client that is seeking a Technical Writer in Phoenix, AZ.
Summary:
The ideal candidate must be a proficient and experienced writer who prides themselves on their diligence, and ability to create high-quality, and engaging content for internal/external customers and stakeholders while adhering to the company style and branding guidelines.
Responsibilities:
Technical Writer will create, edit, and proofread technical content to ensure accuracy and clarity
Assist with creation of content for Company hardware and software product use and installation, Company internal processes, work instructions, training content related to new products and other technical materials
Develop new assets and revise existing collateral including spec sheets, brochures, user guides, installation manuals and release notes with input from the product owner
Create simple graphics such as wiring diagrams, process flow diagrams, installation drawings
Edit and proofread content to ensure accuracy and clarity to meet associated objectives
Capability to accept constructive criticism and not hesitant to ask questions
Work collaboratively with internal teams to create content for the Company Learning Management System
As a Technical Writer, you will collaborate with internal and external customers to deliver content for eBlasts, presentations, flyers, promotional materials, invitations, etc.
Write compelling advertising copy
Identify gaps in content and recommend new topics
Complete projects within defined deadlines, and ensure alignment and consistency in messaging, branding, and style
Deliver materials rated by customers as easy to use/easily understood
Execute all projects on time and on budget
Successful cross-collaboration to achieve corporate goals with Company Management and stakeholders
REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Communications, or a closely related field
4 or more years of experience, preferably with technology companies selling IOT products
Proven experience as a content writer, with a portfolio of materials
Experience in material development and execution to timelines
Experience with publishing software such as Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop) or Dozuki required
Experience with other graphic rendering products such as SolidWorks Composer is desired
Familiar with document approval, revision control and storage protocols
High-level writing, editing, and proofreading skills
Solid MS Office skills including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with team members, customers, and other stakeholders
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
