Kforce has a client that is seeking a Product Owner in Windsor, CT.
Essential Job Functions:
Product Owner will lead market analysis and specification documentation for SEC-developed software solutions
Articulate and translate the product vision to key stakeholders within SEC and the larger company community
Communicate with all stakeholders (e.g., customers, development team, business managers, etc.) to make sure that everyone involved with the product is up to speed on the product goals and how those goals are in line with business objectives
Work day-to-day with SEC development and product teams to clarify business requirements, identify roadblocks, and gain alignment around feature or product strategy
Develop user story acceptance criteria, participate in team demos, coordinate delivery plans, training, and support with other members of the SEC team
Incorporate stakeholder input into the product roadmap, while effectively negotiating trade-offs due to conflicting priorities, weighing value to the business and customer
Understand customer needs and prioritize the backlog to achieve product release goals
As a Product Owner, you will develop and maintain appropriate tracking and reporting of product performance post-launch to evaluate future investment
Evaluate product development progress at each iteration
Create and maintain project plans to implement the most efficient sequence of development/testing/business deliverables
REQUIREMENTS:
Ideal candidate would hold a degree in a related field (e.g., Computer Science, Engineering, Business Analysis, etc.) and/or a Marketing degree, while having experience and/or technical knowledge of software
2-5 years of related experience
Experience and/or technical knowledge of software
The Product Owner must have high-level knowledge of agile software development as well as experience in project management
Familiarity with high performing work environments
Understanding of computer science principals
Has some knowledge of customer-driven and usability test principles
Excellent communication and leadership skills
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
