Job Description:

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce has a client that is seeking a Property Accountant in Wakefield, MA. The client is a real estate investment firm and offers a hybrid work schedule, 4 days in the office, Fridays remote.

Responsibilities:

• In this role, the Property Accountant will complete month-end close process for a portfolio of properties


• Monitor accounts receivables and lender funding


• Support debt compliance monitoring and lender reporting


• Review annual budgets and quarterly reforecast


• As a Property Accountant, you will prepare monthly reconciliations for all balance sheet accounts


• Perform quarterly and year-end CAM reconciliations


• Prepare monthly financial packages for distribution


• Assist with the annual audit preparation

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting


• 1-3 years of accounting experience in property or real estate


• Strong communication skills


• Experience with Yardi a plus


• Understanding of Commercial RE and CAM calculations a plus


• Proficiency in Excel a plus

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
