Kforce has a client in Grand Rapids, MI that is seeking a versatile and experienced Senior Scrum Master who will be responsible for leading Agile team as a Scrum Master while also managing a cross functional project from initiation to closure. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Agile methodologies, excellent project management skills, and the ability to seamlessly influence and collaborate effectively at all levels of the organization.
Responsibilities:
Serve as a Senior Scrum Master for an Agile team, facilitating Scrum events, removing impediments, and ensuring the team's adherence to Agile principles and practices
Coach and mentor team members on Agile methodologies, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and high performance
Collaborate with Product Owners and stakeholders to prioritize and refine the product backlog, ensuring alignment with project goals and objectives
Lead project planning, execution, and delivery, defining project scope, objectives, and deliverables in consultation with stakeholders
Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets, and allocate resources effectively to ensure successful project outcomes
Monitor project progress, identify risks and issues, and implement mitigation strategies to keep projects on track
Communicate project status, updates, and key milestones to stakeholders on a regular basis, ensuring transparency and alignment
Conduct project reviews and retrospectives to identify lessons learned and opportunities for improvement
Ensure project documentation is complete, accurate, and up-to-date, in compliance with organizational standards and requirements
REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's degree in business administration, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
Minimum of 10 years of experience as a Scrum Master and/or Project Manager in Agile software development environments
Strong understanding of Agile principles and practices, with hands-on experience leading Agile teams and implementing Agile methodologies
Excellent project management skills, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and resource management
Proven ability to manage multiple projects concurrently and deliver results on time and within budget
Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively at all levels of the organization
Experience with project management tools and software, such as JIRA, Azure DevOps, Microsoft Project, or equivalent
Ability to adapt to changing priorities and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
