Position Summary 



The Director, Strategic Alliances, Microsoft is responsible for leading Epiq’s alliance initiatives with Microsoft on a global level to support Epiq’s growth objectives.  This leader would drive alliance programs with Microsoft supporting Epiq’s various lines of businesses, with emphasis on Epiq Information Governance, Legal Operations and Transformation, and Regulatory and Compliance areas.  The successful candidate will have demonstrable experience in developing and executing on strategies around engaging Microsoft both on a field level but also on a corporate level including partner programs, marketing, and product.    



 



Essential Job Responsibilities 





  • Manage Epiq’s Microsoft related alliance activities.  Initially, these activities currently are predominately focused on Epiq’s Information Governance line of business. However, Epiq’s Microsoft partnering activities are expanding to include Epiq’s other lines of businesses including Legal Operations and Transformation and Regulatory and Compliance.  This position will require the candidate to define and execute on the Microsoft partnering structure for each line of business.  




  • Manage all Microsoft partner program engagement.   This would include programs such as ECIF, FastTrack, CPOR, M2 payout, etc.   Track progress within each of these programs and ensure that Epiq maintains eligibility for these programs.   Work with field teams to identify target attainment levels each year for these programs (i.e. funding, number of deals, etc.).  Stay informed of any changes in these programs and work with Epiq sales leadership to adapt Epiq’s engagement model with Microsoft based on these changes. 




  • Collaborate with Epiq Marketing to create, and keep up to date, messaging that would be used to co-sell with Microsoft sellers and present Epiq to key internal Microsoft corporate stakeholders.  These would include pitch decks, sales sheets, website information, etc. 




  • Identify and ensure that Epiq is aligned with key Microsoft executives to maintain and grow awareness and support with Microsoft.   This would include executives within Microsoft’s partner program, marketing, and product groups.   Work with Epiq management to map Epiq leaders to Microsoft leaders. 




  • Identify key Microsoft events that Epiq should participate in and work with Epiq sales and marketing to define Epiq’s participation level.   Collaborate with Epiq teams to plan the events and coordinate Epiq’s participation in them. 




  • Work with Epiq Marketing to maximize Epiq’s market awareness around our Microsoft related offerings. 




  • Drive co-innovation with Microsoft around AI and Data supporting Epiq’s various lines of business.  This would include engaging with Microsoft leaders who can support and provide resources for co-innovation.   These co-innovation initiatives would be inclusive of concept creation through go to market.   This would include collaboration with Epiq’s product management, development, and go to market teams.        





Qualifications 





  • 7+ years in a Microsoft related business development, selling or partner management role. 




  • Experience building key strategic relationships and demonstrated ability to make these relationships successful. 




  • Strong project management experience, with exceptional skills at handling multiple, complex projects. 




  • Experience partnering with modern software firms and developing go to market partnering initiatives with them. 




  • Strong collaboration and communication skills with ability to effectively influence internal stakeholders across all levels of the organization. 




  • Strategic and analytical thinker who can translate ideas into action plans. 




  • Experience in the legal industry a plus. 




Candidates based in California, Colorado, Hawaii, New York or Washington:


The Compensation range for this role is 139,802.40 - 279,604.80 USD annually and may be eligible for an annual bonus. Actual compensation within that range will be dependent upon the individual's location, skills, experience and qualifications.
