Responsibilities
Weston & Sampson is rapidly expanding its environmental resource management, infrastructure, sustainability and resilience practices. We are seeking a Project Planner/NEPA Practitioner with 5-7 years of experience to be located in any of our Northeast office locations to assist with regulatory permitting and NEPA clearances for clients completing a wide variety of projects utilizing federal funding.
Qualifications
What you’ll do:
- Serve clients as a vital member of multi-disciplinary project teams
- Support infrastructure, climate resilience, environmental, and urban planning projects with permitting and NEPA services
- Prepare presentations, reports, memoranda, and other high-quality communication materials
- Prepare both analytical and planning-level studies
- Prepare presentations for and facilitate stakeholder meetings
- Perform other related duties as required
- Travel may be required
What you will bring:
- Master’s degree in environmental policy, planning, or a related field
- Experience completing NEPA clearance for a variety of project types
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills; ability to communicate complex information to stakeholders
- Problem-solving skills and a strong work ethic
- Ability to complete multiple tasks concurrently
- Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite software products
- Must have a valid driver’s license
