The specific tasks and requirements may include, but are not limited to the following:

Responsibilities:

Perform the following tasks to include, but not limited to:

  • Participates in inventories, inspects equipment, conducts Limited Technical Inspections and SL-3 inventories for damage and completeness.
  • Prepares vehicles for delivery to the using unit or facility.
  • Tracks and updates documentation related to the turnover of equipment from vendors to the Government customer and validates Technical Manuals.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Good oral and written communication skills and analytical capabilities.
  • Travel expected up to 50% of the time.

Education/Experience:

  • Four (4) years of progressive experience or any equivalent combination of relevant education and experience with Department of Defense life cycle logistics planning, equipment fielding and sustainment management.
  • USMC Military Occupational Specialty (MOS) 2141 Assault Amphibious Vehicle (AAV)/Amphibious Combat Vehicle (ACV) Repairer/Technician or MOS 1833 AAV Marine preferred. MOS 2146 Heavy Ordnance Vehicle Repairer/Technician; MOS 2147 Light Armored Vehicle (LAV) Repairer/Technician are encouraged to apply.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent GED required.

Specific Requirements:

  • Familiarity with the Common Remotely Operated Weapons System (CROWS) and it’s installation a plus.
  • Valid driver’s license required;
  • Current certification or ability to obtain and maintain certification to operate an ACV;
  • Current Material Handling Equipment (MHE) license or ability to obtain and maintain operator’s license for MHE;
  • Current Forklift Operator (FLO) license or ability to obtain and maintain FLO for motorized forklifts with up to 10,000 pounds lift capacity;
  • Position requires an active Secret security clearance. Ability to obtain and maintain an ACTIVE Secret Clearance
