Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated Accountant to provide support to our software and systems development team and contribute to the success of the T2 project. The accounting position will be responsible for analyzing and recording transactions for several related legal entities. The accounting position will assist in designing business processes, documentation, and reporting requirements.

Responsibilities:

  • Record daily and month end transactions in a multi-company QuickBooks Online environment.
  • In coordination with the software development team, analyze accounting requirements and prioritize enhancements for recording accounting transactions.
  • Prepare month end and year end reports for multiple related companies using QuickBooks Online.
  • Light administrative and documentation tasks in general support of the project

Requirements:

  • Associate or bachelor’s degree in accounting.
  • Three to five years’ experience using QuickBooks Online
  • Strong self-guided problem-solving skills and the ability to learn and adapt to changing project needs.
  • Ability to meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with team members.

Preferences:

  • Familiarity with Accounting enterprise software solutions.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office products
  • Familiarity with transaction import tools for QuickBooks Online
