Salary Range: $85,000.00 - $125,000.00 Salary

Electrical Engineer

Urban Engineers, Inc. is seeking an Electrical Engineer to join our MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) Department. This position will be responsible for the electrical system design of commercial, institutional, and residential building projects.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the preparation of construction drawings and specifications
• Design full electrical systems including low voltage power distribution, lighting systems and controls, branch circuiting, and fire alarm systems.
• Prepare load analysis for different stages of design.
• Prepare drawings detailing the system designed.
• Communicate with clients to establish their needs and discuss design issues with them.

Requirements :

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
• Experience Level Requirements
  
  
  • 3 - 9 years of experience working on Electrical Engineering projects
  • EIT is preferred, but not required.
• Ability to work independently.
• AutoCAD and Revit experience is required.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Must live within or be relocating to within a reasonable commute of our Cherry Hill, NJ Office.
