The Title:
Prep. Team Member, Level II
The Role: Ingredient Preparation team members are responsible for effectively working with their team to follow daily work instructions. The Ingredient Prep Department prepares and delivers ingredients for the batching department. Team members handle food ingredients, follow recipes, document traceability, operate washing, chopping, pumping, and mixing equipment, whilst following food quality and safety standards to ensure the safe and timely production of healthy food.
What You'll Do:
Set up the Ingredient Prep. and Batching areas and assemble equipment
Coordinate with warehouse operations to ensure timely and accurate delivery of raw materials to the production floor.
Prepare raw materials for processing, including de-casing, inspecting, washing, size reducing and portioning.
Prepare, properly label, and stage raw materials for downstream processes.
Safely operate basic process equipment including wash tanks, product conveyors, drum/tote unloaders, scale and buggy dumpers.
Assist withgeneral sanitation activities, including breakdown of various equipment following product changeovers and at the end of the production shift.
Work as part of a team to ensuretimelyand efficient production. Embrace collective ambition.
Prepare and review documentation (written or digital) as required for food safety, quality, and production tracking activities.
Adhere to and demonstrate to team members all safety guidelines (both personnel and food safety-related) and Good Manufacturing Practices.
Abide by policies and procedures that support the service mindset

The Qualifications:
1-2 years food handling and/or food processing experience.
