Position Purpose:

This position serves a dual role of employee relations and reporting/analytics. The client group supported consists of technologists at all levels. In addition to employee relations this position has a significant focus on analyzing and interpreting data to provide Technology and HR leadership with insights to support business decisions. The incumbent of this role will create and maintain reports, dashboards, and other data visualization tools to communicate findings to stakeholders. This role collaborates closely with subject matter experts in Talent, Compensation, Benefits, and Payroll to lead initiatives within the assigned client group.

Major accountabilities:
  • Lead the delivery of HR processes and services to meet best practice standards for headquarters client base.
  • Review and approve recruitment efforts for exempt/non-exempt employees (including job description review, posting and managing requisitions, screening candidates, pre-employment testing, interviewing, preparing offer letters, background and drug screenings, I-9 verification, new hire orientation, and securing contract labor).
  • Provide HR guidance and support on employee relations, performance management, progressive discipline, performance improvement plans, and interpretation of policies and procedures.
  • Develop and produce employee reporting for Technology leadership to support and drive excellence in business initiatives.
  • Collaborate up and down the Technology organization to support data-driven decision-making.
  • Build partnerships with business leaders to foster a high performing culture that emphasizes quality, productivity, service, diversity, and collaboration.
  • Ensures consistent application of company policies/procedures and compliance with all federal and state laws regulating the employment relationship as well as company expectations. Leads compliance review and enforcement.
  • Oversee the off-boarding process for client group (separations, exit interviews, unemployment claims).
  • Maintain and update employee data in HRIS.
  • Respond timely and accurately with responses to employee inquiries.
  • Conduct effective employee training.
  • Performs other duties/ tasks as required.

Location:
  • Atlanta headquarters office

Desired Qualifications & Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business (HR preferred) or Social Sciences or equivalent experience.
  • HR certification preferred
  • 5 or more years HR Management experience
  • Strong working knowledge of federal/state employment laws and a solid understanding of general HR practices is required
  • Strong leadership and relationship building skills
  • Advanced skills in the use of Microsoft Office products (emphasis on reporting and presentations) and HRIS (Workday preferred)
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Detailed oriented, ability to multi-task effectively, and excellent follow up skills
  • Excellent presentation skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills as well as read, analyze, and interpret business policies or government regulations.
  • Conflict management skills
  • Team Player with positive attitude
  • Works well with employees at all levels ranging from hourly to executive.
