Position Specifics
Title: Operations Support Specialist
Department: Operations
Reports to: Supply Chain Supervisor
This job description in no way implies that these are the only duties to be performed by the incumbent. At all times, employees will be required to follow any instructions and to perform any duties as seen necessary by the requesting supervisor or manager.
4.1 General Position Summary:
Organizational and administrative liaison for all administrative and clerical tasks associated with Supply Chain Management, Process Engineering, Production and Operations.
4.2 Key Tasks:
entry of master data - bill of materials, routings, SAP
and maintain one standard, user friendly format for company documentation.
with Process Engineering to support document updates, modifications, and revisions.
edit, and distribute all Operations documents - SOP's, Specification updates, job descriptions.
for all Operations documents - alerting departments, Supervisors, PE of timeline
and automate logs and other relevant administrative documentation
assist with Décor Request (sampling) process
maintain, and follow up on Operations Requests
preparation
in Continuous Improvement Process (CIP)
back up for Planning.
Secondary Functions:

4.3 Job Scope:
Performs duties with minimal supervision, operate from specific and definite directions and instructions. Decisions are of a routine nature made within prescribed operating guidelines, policies, and procedures. Mistakes/errors may result in work stoppage, loss of business, poor customer relations, and/or damage to product, all of which can have negative financial implications for the organization. Work overtime when needed.
