Job title: Customer Insights Manager

Job statement: This role reports to the COO. This role will assist in customer discovery and market research, design and conduct voice of customer surveys, attend trade shows, conduct customer interviews, analyze data, and prepare reports.

Location: Santa Barbara, CA (Remote/Hybrid).

About the role

As a high-growth startup with a flat organization structure, we have a unique philosophy toward management and career growth. This role will directly report to the COO; the ideal candidate will have access to a diverse range of responsibilities and challenges, and have an accelerated path of career growth.

This role can be remote or hybrid. The position may entail frequent travel to customer or conference locations.

Responsibilities

  • Schedule and conduct virtual or in-person customer interviews for primary market research.
  • Assist in organizing promotional events, trade shows, and conferences, including logistics, attendees, materials, and post-event reports.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of marketing campaigns; analyze sales data; identify opportunities for optimization and growth.
  • Prepare reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data from databases and primary research.
  • Support the team on various projects as needed.

Qualifications
  • At least 2 years of experience in an IVD marketing or sales role; experience with new product launch strongly preferred; experience with distributed healthcare market (urgent care; long-term care; physician office, etc) or point-of-care diagnostics market preferred but not required.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to deeply understand complex topics and converse fluently with experts.
  • Resourceful, creative, and persistent attitude toward new challenges.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced startup environment, learning new skills and delivering outcome under deadline.
