Role Description
We are hiring for a full-time on-site Project Superintendent role located in Lawrence, KS. The day-to-day tasks of the role include supervising, overseeing, and directing all aspects of the construction of commercial and industrial projects. The Project Superintendent will ensure compliance with building plans and specifications, and manage the project's daily schedule. Additionally, they will be responsible for maintaining construction records, monitoring safety procedures and ensuring that the construction site is always tidy and safe.
Qualifications
Minimum of 5 years of experience in the commercial construction sector as assistant or primary superintendent.
Excellent understanding of construction procedures and safety guidelines.
Experience supervising and leading construction teams and overseeing various types of projects from ground up to interior finishes.
Demonstrated proficiency in reading and understanding blueprints and specifications.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to coordinate with architects, contractors, and other relevant parties.
Ability to manage schedules and ensure that deadlines are met.
Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
Capacity to multitask and work well in a team dynamic.
General knowledge of Microsoft Office, Procore, PlanGrid, and other construction industry software tools.
