The mission of the Product Manager is to manage the commercial success of his/her product line(s), acting as the product champion within the company to drive profitable growth for the WoundZoom product portfolio. The ideal candidate will effectively collaborate in a fast-paced environment with the Sales, Marketing, Development, and R&D teams to set strategic direction, develop launch plans, and craft tactical programs and execution strategies that align with the organization's goals. Growth and development will be facilitated through comprehensive strategies in product positioning, pricing, promotion, channel development, demand generation, and lifecycle management. The Product Manager is expected to become the market expert within the company for their specific area, gaining an in-depth understanding of customer needs, current and future, as well as the strengths and weaknesses of competitor products. They should also be capable of representing their business segments as a leading knowledge source in front of customers and company leadership. Essential Duties
Leverage best-in-class marketing practices and skills to create marketing plans, customer segmentation, targeting, positioning, value proposition, branding, and asset development, to boost product portfolio growth and align with overall business goals.
Analyze market information, competition, and trends to define target groups and understand the market through customer interaction and market research.
Drive the introduction of new products, ensuring alignment with market needs and expectations, and develop a clear understanding of product positioning and value propositions.
Support the business case for new product introductions and commercial initiatives.
Develop and execute comprehensive promotional programs, including launch plans, sales channels, communication tactics, and support materials.
Generate and analyze digital marketing metrics and make necessary adjustments to the strategy to improve performance.
Manage external agency partners in the generation of content and execution of digital marketing tactics
Engage in customer and market insight activities to keep the portfolio ahead of market demands and develop customer-focused educational programs to support the sales team.
Collaborate with professional societies, advocacy groups, and key opinion leaders (KOLs) for thought leadership and awareness.
Lead in managing tradeshow and educational conference planning, execution, content development, attending, and performing duties as required.
Measure strategy success with KPIs, ensuring alignment across the organization and strong relationships with internal and external customers.
Maintain high level of product knowledge, own major brands, or sub-segments, and ensure the execution of strategies at the brand or sub-segment level in collaboration with Marketing Lead.
Education & Experience
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field. MBA preferred.
Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in Medical Devices or Healthcare Technologies is preferred
Minimum 3 years of experience as a Product Manager with a history of defining and launching successful products
Demonstrated ability to work creatively amidst competing priorities to deliver high-impact marketing programs on time and within budget to support overall marketing strategy and business objectives
Influencing skills - ability to motivate individuals and demonstrate organizational influence
Superior verbal/written communication, teamwork, and interpersonal skills to work across multiple constituents
Strong analytical and processing skills
Self-starter with the ability to take full ownership of projects
Agility to pivot focus to meet evolving sales and customer needs
Well-versed in MS Office Suite, Google Analytics, Web metrics
Ability to travel approximately up to 25% of the time
