Zabatt Power Systems (www.zabatt.com) is a full-service power generation company, with locations throughout Florida and the southeast. Headquartered in Jacksonville, Florida, we are a leading provider of generator equipment, installations, parts, maintenance and service to homeowners, businesses and industries across the region. We are currently seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager to join our growing installation team. This position is based in South Florida (our office is in Pembroke Pines).
The Project Manager is responsible for estimating/quoting projects, management and execution of multiple projects in a given territory related to standby power systems installations including residential, commercial and industrial applications. This position is responsible for managing projects from beginning to end, staying on budget and schedule, and acting as the liaison between customer, vendors and internal teams. Electrical field crews will report to the Project Manager. Many of our customers are municipalities, police, fire, water treatment, utility, telecom, schools, etc.
Qualifications • Minimum 5 years of relevant electrical project management, estimating or field-supervisory experience in the electrical industry. Our projects are 95% Commercial/Industrial, experience in these areas is necessary to be successful. Power generation experience is valued as well.
-bilingual (English and Spanish) highly valued. • Strong understanding of the National Electric Code. • Ability to identify and meet customers' needs, expectations and requirements using effective communication. • Ability to interpret construction drawings, conduct site visits, pre-construction meetings, interact with engineers, and complete estimates using quoting tools.
