IT Consultant 1
This position is responsible for leading the architecture, design, and development of IT systems to meet business needs and product deliverables. The selected Consultant will work closely with the designated IT manager, project managers, and other developers in an agile development environment. The work scope of the consultant will include requirements gathering, developing solution architecture, design, application development, testing, deployment, and technical support. The Consultant, in working with DCY staff, will be responsible for leading the architecture, design and development of.NET applications utilizing C#, ASP.NET Core MVC, Microsoft Azure, Web API, Entity Framework, SQL Server, Kendo UI, and other technologies.
Mandatory skills • Experience in leading teams through multiple stages of software development (from system analysis to deployment) - 5+ years. • Experience in systems architecture, design, development, using Microsoft.NET technologies - 12+ years. • Experience in using Microsoft Azure - 5+ years. • Experience in developing cloud architecture and adoption strategy for Azure - 3+ years. • Experience in developing/maintaining Azure cloud native IT systems - 3+ years. • Experience in migrating existing .NET applications to Azure - 3+ years. • Experience with Azure DevOps, including git, boards, and CI/CD pipelines - 3+ years. • Experience in creating Azure DevOps Continuous Integration Delivery pipelines in Powershell - 3+ years. • Experience in managing APIs with Azure APIM - 4+ years. • Experience in developing web applications utilizing the .NET 4.0 or higher - 10+ years. • Experience with Microsoft .NET 6 - 2+ years. • Experience in design and development using ASP.NET MVC 5 - 7+ years. • Experience with ASP.NET Core MVC 6 - 2+ years. • Experience in developing with the C# language - 10+ years. • Experience in development using Entity Framework (EF) 4.0 or later, including LINQ to SQL - 10+ years. • Experience in development using Entity Framework (EF) Core 6.0, including LINQ to SQL - 2+ years. • Experience in developing applications using Kendo UI Controls for ASP.NET MVC 5 - 5+ years. • Experience in developing applications using Kendo UI Controls for ASP.NET Core MVC 6 - 2+ years. • Experience in developing applications using JavaScript, jQuery, and CSS 3.0 - 5+ years. • Experience in developing applications using Bootstrap framework 3 - 5+ years. • Experience in developing Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) using Web API - 5+ years. • Experience with SQL Server including Database Design and development including optimization of queries, creating tables, views, stored procedures, and functions - 10+ years. • Experience in developing with Visual Studio 2019/2022 - 4+ years. • Experience in writing unit tests in Visual Studio - 5+ years. • Experience on a project within the AGILE methodology - 5+ years. • Ability to collaborate with supporting resources across business and/or functional lines. • Have excellent oral and written communication skills; strong meeting and work session facilitation skills. • Ability to provide guidance and mentoring to technical and non-technical staff.
