THE POSITION

Join a team of development program professionals to support dev programs within one of Honeywell's businesses. You will help implement program plans, budgets, schedules and execute a programmatic MOS, support forecasting & capacity analysis related to delivery requirements. You will play an important role in the IPDS process and strategies to achieve committed business performance. You will support business leaders and present programmatic details, requirements, actions, and status as assigned. You will also be working under moderate supervision of the program manager to execute on scope, schedule, cost, delivery, earned value & quality while demonstrating PM skills including risk management.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Focus on safety as a priority in all aspects of the work
  • Owner for all aspect of the contract terms from initiation to customer turn-over
  • Lead a team of project personnel to the SOW while focusing on Time of the Essence
  • Manage project financials including overall budget, procurement of project equipment and materials, and project scope modifications.
  • Support construction activities with customers as well as the internal team to secure a safe, timely and efficient project(s).
  • Lead procurement, logistics, PO, and delivery activities to secure final contract dates
  • Develop and Manage project schedule based on the SOW utilizing the latest PM tools set of Kaizen, Lean and Scrum to secure best practices and deliveries.
  • Maintain and Provide visibility to growth opportunities in managed projects.
  • Be proficient in construction project management and contract management.
  • Worked in Civil, Construction or Electrical projects that are associated to BESS
  • Supports a sense of urgency in all the work that they support including reporting to customer, internal team and customers and leadership requests.

Up to 50% travel can be expected with this position.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
  • At least 5-10 years of experience leading projects in power, renewable energy, BESS and/or industrial automation
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Civil or Mechanical Engineering
  • Requirements Management & Construction, Planning/Estimation
  • Scheduling including resource-loading critical path analysis & crashing schedules.
  • Cost & Financials (ex. Spend, Forecast, Variance, Revenue Recognition, Cash, Invoices)
  • Risk Management (Identification & Mitigation)
  • Leadership position with Communication and Presentation to leadership
  • Worked in multi-disciple business driving results

PREFERRED
  • PE certification, PMI certification, MBA
  • Ability to write, speak and communicate in English and Spanish
  • PM Principles & Processes with emphasis on Cora, Primavera, Project, Agile
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Earned Value Management & Schedule of Values
  • Cross Functional Communication with program team/sponsors
  • Influential and Team approach to project solving
  • Act in the role of program's risk and contract manager.
