Role Overview:

We are seeking a Director for US Corporate Strategy to join our Corporate Strategy team. This pivotal role encompasses overseeing corporate and pipeline strategy, business development, alliance management, and operational excellence. The successful candidate will play a key role in shaping and executing strategic initiatives critical to our company's success.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Planning & Deliverables:
  • Enhance and manage our strategic planning cycle, including annual business reviews, long-range planning, and functional plans.
  • Collaborate with internal subject matter experts to develop strategic deliverables, ensuring alignment with global objectives.

Strategic Support of Financial Planning:
  • Drive timely and integrated forecasts and financial plans, aligning with organizational strategy.
  • Act as a neutral party to evaluate and refine forecasts, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
  • Interpret business performance within the context of strategy and provide executive-level presentations.

Strategic Projects:
  • Lead and support strategic projects deemed high priority by the US Leadership Team.
  • Own project scoping, analysis, decision enablement, and execution setup.
  • Identify and capitalize on business transformation opportunities.

Education and Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree with a focus on business, science, or quantitative studies; advanced degree preferred.
  • 8+ years of professional experience, ideally in consulting or a strategic role within life sciences.
  • Proficiency in MS Office tools, particularly PowerPoint and Excel.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to deliver compelling business recommendations.
  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills.
  • Demonstrated success in building relationships and influencing stakeholders across functions.
  • Professional demeanor with the ability to engage with senior leadership.

Other Details:
  • Boston-area/hybrid onsite position.
  • Occasional travel (~5-10%) for meetings, conferences, and off-sites.
