Summary:
We are on the lookout for an Infrastructure Project Manager with robust experience in leading strategic infrastructure projects, including the development and construction of facilities such as warehouses and video conference rooms, for a prominent client. The ideal candidate will bring a wealth of project management experience and technical insight to drive the successful completion of these projects, significantly contributing to our client's achievements.
Responsibilities:
Oversee the entire lifecycle of infrastructure and data center projects, including the management of construction activities.
Manage the planning, design, and implementation of warehouse and video conference room projects, utilizing Cisco networking technologies like Catalyst switches and ISR routers, as well as voice and video systems such as Cisco Unified Communications Manager and Cisco TelePresence.
Build and maintain effective communication with stakeholders to facilitate project progress.
Apply Agile methodologies to steer project teams toward efficient delivery, focusing on construction and technology deployment.
Handle budgeting and resource allocation for projects, aiming for completion within allocated budgets and timelines.
Identify and mitigate project risks, particularly those related to construction and IT infrastructure, with a focus on compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
Integrate various system architectures to meet business and technical requirements, encompassing network infrastructure, VoIP systems, video conferencing technologies, and cloud computing services.
Qualifications:
A Bachelor's or Master's Degree in a relevant field, with Project Management (PMI) and Agile certifications preferred.
A minimum of 10 years of experience in managing complex technical projects, especially in facility construction and video conference room installation.
Knowledge of Project Portfolio Management (PPM) tools, Microsoft Office Suite, Procore, and the permitting process for new constructions.
Strong leadership abilities with the capacity to encourage collaboration among diverse teams.
A thorough understanding of low voltage systems, structured cabling, PDUs, and Cisco networking technologies.
Experience in facility construction and video conference room setups, committed to meeting industry standards and regulatory requirements.
