One of our leading Health Plan's is seeking a Contracting Analytics Consultant with 4-6 years of experience in the healthcare industry, specifically including medical cost management, to join our dynamic team. Responsibilities:
Analyze and evaluate provider contracts to ensure alignment with strategic initiatives and financial goals
Develop and maintain complex analytical models to assess provider performance and identify opportunities for improvement
Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including contracting, finance, and clinical teams, to drive data-informed contracting decisions
Present findings and recommendations to senior leadership to support contract negotiations and business strategies
Monitor and track contract performance metrics to ensure compliance and identify areas for optimization
Provide expertise and guidance on healthcare economics, reimbursement methodologies, and medical cost management
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in healthcare management, economics, statistics, or a related field required; Master's degree preferred
4-6 years of experience in healthcare analytics, with a focus on provider contracting, medical economics, and medical cost management
Proficiency in data analysis tools and languages (e.g., SQL, Excel, Tableau)
Strong understanding of healthcare reimbursement methodologies and contract language
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
