Allied Resources is seeking a Utility Designer to support utility-infrastructure capital projects for an established Energy company in the Baltimore area! As a Utility Designer, you will be collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful implementation of capital construction projects.
Responsibilities:
Create utility system designs using CAD software (AutoCAD/MicroStation) that align with our clients' needs and regulatory requirements.
Conduct site visits and assessments to gather data and ensure designs are tailored to specific project requirements.
Ensure compliance with industry standards, local regulations, and environmental considerations in all designs.
Collaborate with engineering, planning, and regulatory teams to develop utility system designs, including electric and/or gas systems.
Communicate effectively with clients, stakeholders, and team members to address design-related inquiries and concerns.
Requirements:
At least a two year Technical or Associate's Degree
2+ years experience designing electrical, mechanical, civil, etc. systems
Prior experience in Electrical/Gas Distribution design
Experience utilizing MicroStation and/or AutoCAD
