Expand your professional career as a Robotics Technician at our client in Newnan, GA. As a RoboticsTechnician, you will participate in the cell design, end of arm tooling, and fixture design, along with the installation of automated equipment. This is a 1st shift, 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM, direct-hire opportunity.
REQUIREMENTS:
High school diploma or GED
Technical training certificates or associate degree, preferred
1 - 8+ years of related experience and/or training, OR
Equivalent combination of education and experience
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
Ability to define problems, collect data, and establish facts
Ability to use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls
Ability to stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, climb, balance, stand, walk, and reach with hands or arms
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Work with pneumatics and principles of compressed air
Work with hydraulics and principles of fluid mechanics
Work with circuits from 120 to 480 volts and other electrical related tasks to include AC and DC power and circuit boards
Assist in the construction of robotic equipment, collaborating closely with engineers
Testing robotic systems to ensure they are working properly before use
Layout and install all types of plumbing systems including sweat, glued, screwed, welded connections
Interpret isometric drawings
Use electrical test equipment to take voltage and current readings and conduct ohm testing
Install and program robotic equipment in a manufacturing facility
Troubleshoot issues - both electrical and mechanical - that arise with robotic equipment
Troubleshoot robotic systems, using knowledge of microprocessors, programmable controllers, electronics, circuit analysis, mechanics, sensor or feedback systems, hydraulics, or pneumatics
Make repairs to robots or peripheral equipment such as replacement of defective circuit boards, sensors, controllers, encoders, or servomotors
Perform other tasks as required
