General Responsibilities
Directs and oversees the procurement of supplies, researching pricing trends and managing sourcing of tools, supplies and equipment.
Develops constructive relationships with suppliers, negotiating product quality, service level standards and costs.
Directs procurement staff, sets internal policy for conduct, managing activities, objectives and goals with the ultimate intent to have the organization meet company objectives.
Work with IT to identify system enhancements to support the procurement process, participate in R&D on projects and implementation of new programs.
