Job Description:

Entry-level, onsite, 6-month temp. position with a well-established medical device company! As a Claims Specialist, you will be responsible for organization and submission of claims and documentation.

Qualifications:
  • High school education or equivalent
  • Strong computer skills
  • Capable user of Microsoft Office products including: Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  • Capable user of remote collaboration tools (Microsoft Teams/Zoom).
  • Self-starter who takes initiative to overcome challenges.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Must be detail oriented and able to plan, organize and complete tasks in a timely manner.
  • Ability to multi-task and work independently.
  • Reliable transportation.
  • Brightree software knowledge preferred.
  • 2+ years of DME accounts receivable billing experience preferred.

Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Research how to properly submit claims.
  • Gathers required documentation for submissions.
  • Organizes and prepares insurance claims for daily submissions via paper or online.
  • Sorts, stuffs and mails claims and documentation.
  • Communicates and works with leadership identify potential risks and solutions for performance improvement.
  • Identifies potential deficiencies and training needs in processes via analysis and trends.
  • Assists leadership with implementation of procedure changes.
  • Assists with special projects and compiles reports.
  • Assures quality of work is maintained.
  • Manages workload and completes assignments timely.

As required by local law, Suna Solutions provides a reasonable pay scale to include the hourly or salary range that Suna Solutions reasonably expects to pay for roles that may be hired in California, Colorado, New York City or Washington as set forth below.

Pay Scale of Starting Pay for role: $14-$15/hr.
