We are seeking an experienced Automated Systems Engineer to join our client's team, specializing in automated storage systems, fix drops robots, and automated guarding vehicles. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in programming and design, with specific experience in the pharmaceutical industry, particularly in environments adhering to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).

Responsibilities:
  1. System Programming and Design: Utilize expertise in programming and design to develop and optimize automated storage systems, fix drops robots, and automated guarding vehicles.
  2. Integration and Implementation: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate automated systems into existing infrastructure, ensuring seamless operation and maximum efficiency.
  3. Troubleshooting and Maintenance: Proactively identify and resolve issues with automated systems, conducting routine maintenance to ensure optimal performance and uptime.
  4. Documentation and Compliance: Create and maintain comprehensive design documents and technical specifications, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, especially within the pharmaceutical industry and GMP standards.
  5. Software Expertise: Proficiency with SynQ software is essential, along with experience working with Swisslog ASRS systems. Leverage software knowledge to streamline operations and enhance system functionality.
  6. Training and Support: Provide training and support to end-users and maintenance staff on the operation and maintenance of automated systems, ensuring a high level of competency across the organization.
  7. Continuous Improvement: Stay abreast of industry developments and emerging technologies related to automated systems, identifying opportunities for improvement and innovation.

Requirements:
  1. Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field. Advanced degree preferred.
  2. Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in designing, programming, and implementing automated storage systems, fix drops robots, and automated guarding vehicles.
  3. Proven experience working in pharmaceutical manufacturing environments, with a strong understanding of GMP requirements and compliance standards.
  4. Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C++, or Java, with experience in PLC programming considered a plus.
  5. In-depth knowledge of SynQ software and Swisslog ASRS systems, along with a demonstrated ability to work with complex automation platforms.
  6. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in a timely manner.
  7. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  8. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, as well as part of a team in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
