Our financial services client is looking for an experienced Microservices Service Mesh engineer/architect with practical experience in transitioning a service-based application to use HashiCorp Consul. The existing application uses Python FastAPI/Flask running on Linux servers in a VMware virtualized environment.
Skills needed:
Expert with microservice architecture using HashiCorp Consul service mesh
Fluent in Python for REST/JSON applications using Flask, FastAPI
Fluent with Agile methodology and using Jira to create user stories, track requirements, design and development
Competently documents solutions and is able to discuss them with other teams
Experienced in Test Driven Design (TDD)
Experience with large enterprises and scaling to meet its needs
Experience working with CI/CD pipelines and Jenkins
Experience with OAuth Authentication / Authorization Protocols
