Position Summary:
We are looking for an Operational Business Analyst to join our Operations Team! This position is responsible for operational excellence and continuous improvement in all facets of Operations, specifically WMS and TMS. The Business Analyst provides process, design, and analysis support for developing solutions for interfacing business applications. In addition to identifying efficiency gaps across all distribution functional areas.
Responsibilities:
Analyze business processes and come up with solutions that will streamline Operations.
Develop and implement strategic goals by using Operational Excellence and Continuous Improvement tools.
Develop and manage continuous improvement projects that directly support the site strategy through collaboration with work stream leads, business leads, and cross function teams.
Develop resource plans, design project charters and milestones, and determine SMART project targets along with desired outcomes.
Interact at all levels of the organization, driving a culture of sustained Operational Excellence and Continuous Improvement across the business.
Reporting on project outputs and metrics for all distribution centers to site leadership, promoting essential accomplishments and escalating issues that require additional support.
Create plans to measure success of strategic goals, while creating a road map to address gaps where goals are not being met.
Provide coaching and education on Operational Excellence and Continuous improvement principles and practices
Qualifications:
A minimum of 4 years related experience working in a Distribution Center Environment
Bachelors Degree in Information Technology, Finance, Accounting or Business OR any equivalent combination of education, experience, and training, which provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities will be accepted.
Ability to travel 25% of the time to facilities and retail centers in the U.S (Houston, Skokie, Greer, and Vegas).
Experience with Warehouse Management Systems, JD Edwards, or similar ERP
Experience with database extract and slicing, SQL, and user support.
Experience with Warehouse replenishment and location set up.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Programs
Capacity to utilize effective time management skills and be able to work under the stress of multiple deadlines, be able to prioritize requests from other departments and maintain accuracy while being frequently interrupted.
Self-motivated to achieve goals with minimal supervision or direction.
