Position Overview: We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Procurement Specialist to join our dynamic team. The Procurement Specialist will play a crucial role in supporting strategic sourcing and supplier relationship management processes. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, a collaborative mindset, and a passion for driving value through effective procurement strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in developing and implementing strategic sourcing initiatives to optimize procurement processes and drive cost savings.
Conduct market research and analysis to identify potential suppliers, evaluate their capabilities, and assess market trends.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their procurement needs and requirements.
Prepare and execute requests for proposals (RFPs), requests for quotations (RFQs), and requests for information (RFIs) to solicit competitive bids from suppliers.
Evaluate supplier proposals, negotiate contracts, and finalize agreements to ensure favorable terms and conditions.
Monitor supplier performance, address issues or concerns, and implement corrective actions as necessary.
Maintain accurate records of procurement activities, contracts, and supplier relationships.
Stay informed about industry best practices, emerging trends, and regulatory requirements related to procurement.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
2+ years of experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, or supply chain management.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments and with external stakeholders.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and experience with procurement software or systems is preferred.
Knowledge of procurement best practices, contract management, and supplier relationship management.
Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
