Job Description:

Nimbis Services, Inc. in Bowie, Maryland is seeking an experienced Capture Manager within the Business Development team to drive and win new business within Defense Microelectronics, Aerospace, and Smart Manufacturing. This position will perform market research and develop capture strategies that lead to proposal wins. Will build and manage relationships with our current and potential commercial and government clients, assist with developing and implementing Nimbis' business development strategy, and will support and participate in writing pitches and proposals. Nimbis is a small business that enhances microelectronics mission readiness and success for DoD programs using digital twin, multi-physics analysis, hybrid cloud and HPC, and AI. The Capture Manager will report to the President and work from our Bowie, Maryland office on a Hybrid work schedule.

US Citizen Status is required for this position with potential clearance in the future.

What you'll do:

  • Develop an understanding of Nimbis capabilities and opportunities with our commercial & government clients.
  • Develop in-depth knowledge of the portfolio of Nimbis' key clients and the industry.
  • Perform market research and develop capture strategies for current and potential clients in coordination with the President and CTO.
  • Engage and build trusting relationships with customers. Understand priorities, strategies and goals and how they align with Nimbis' capabilities.
  • Support President with the development and execution of Nimbis' business development strategy.
  • Provide assistance with the development of proposals, including collecting relevant content to help produce the final submission in a complete and timely manner.
  • Maintain opportunities in Microsoft Dynamics with all business development activities, updating progress as needed.

What we need:
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent years' experience in Business Operations, Marketing, or Engineering.
• 5 plus years' experience working in an engineering or technology-focused industry.
• Experience with direct engagement of partners and other senior level stakeholders.
• Strong desire and business acumen for consultative solution selling.
• Exceptional negotiation, customer service and interpersonal skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication, analytical and presentation skills
• Prefer experience with government contracts and RFP's.
