Our client in Providence, RI is looking for a Customer Production Planner! The person in this role will oversee key customer accounts and provide communication on order status, net terms, and collections. This is a first shift, direct hire position offering $50k-$65k with great benefits!

Job Responsibilities
Conduct contract review to include verification of net terms, pricing, lead times, PM Adders and part revisions. Then enter into Plex ERP system.
Acknowledge customer orders and update advance ship notice (ASN) capability per purchase order.
Generate and review customer open order report weekly and close out orders with short quantities.
Work with Customers/Finance to clear invoice holds as required.
Work with NPI team on new products and processes.
Release customer orders daily for shipment.
Participate in cross-functional teams to address customer service issues.
Work closely with Shipping/Receiving to ensure materials are received and shipped in a timely manner.
Work with Sales Engineering to better understand Customer requirements and expectations going forward .
Track customer orders, plans and forecasts and provide updates to Management.
Education /Skills /Qualifications:
3 to 5 years of Customer Service and Production Planning experience in a fast paced manufacturing environment. Automotive Industry experience is a big plus!
Bachelors (Preferred)
Supply chain certifications preferred. Ex: APICS or CSCP
Ability to elicit cooperation from team members and other departments.
Experience working in a team oriented, collaborative environment.
Capable of adapting and effectively responding to rapid changes in a fast paced environment.
Analytical with demonstrated problem solving skills.

The hourly rate for this position is anticipated between $24.00 - $31.25 per hour. This range is a good-faith estimate, based on the shift you work and other considerations permitted by law.
