Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Senior Project Manager. The Senior Project Manager will be responsible for reading and reviewing steel. drawings, overseeing project deliveries, managing project timelines, and overseeing logistics management. We are currently seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager for high value projects. This individual manages the scheduling, budgeting, resource management, logistics and primary client communication for mid to high complexity projects utilizing Pre-Engineered Metal Buildings and conventional steel framing systems. The Senior Project Manager will report directly to the COO.
Qualifications • Construction Management degree, or equivalent experience • Minimum of 5+ years of Metal Building / PEMB / Structural Steel • Knowledge of all phases of the building construction process including pre-construction through closeout • Excellent time management skills • Solid experience and understanding of Pre-Engineered Metal Buildings and conventional steel framing systems • Skilled at reading and understanding project drawings and specifications • Firm grasp of project related finances: cash flow, margins, and job costing • Experience in the following software: • Great interpersonal and communication skills
Responsibilities • Ensure projects are delivered on-time, within budget and within the scope • Experience on public education projects required • Develop a detailed project plan to track progress • Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors • Lead and direct the work of other project team members as needed • Client follow-up and retention • This individual manages the scheduling, budgeting, resource management, logistics and primary client communication for mid to high complexity projects utilizing Pre-Engineered Metal Buildings and conventional steel framing systems
