Exercise Specialist – Science Dr Medical Center – Part Time at University of Wisconsin Hospitals and Clinics Authority in Madison, Wisconsin

Work Schedule :

40% FTE, 16 hours/week. Variable shifts scheduled between the hours of 2:00 PM - 6:00 PM or 5:00 PM - 9:00 PM . Rotating Saturdays 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM. Hours may vary based on the operational needs of department.

We are seeking an Exercise Specialist to:

• Supervise the daily activities of the Fitness Gym.
• Conduct initial interviews and evaluate new members to develop appropriate exercise prescriptions.
• Orient new participants to the rules of the facility.

Education :

Minimum - Bachelor's Degree in Exercise Physiology, Kinesiology or related field

Work Experience :

Minimum -Experience developing and teaching exercise programming to adults.

Preferred -Previous healthcare experience and Computer experience with Microsoft Office Suite

Licenses and Certifications :

Minimum - Current CPR/AED certification.
