We are searching for a Director of Product Management that has a deep understanding of Agile methodologies, has proven experience managing multiple projects simultaneously, loves talking to clients and end users, and knows how to be the glue for cross-functional teams.
Candidates for this position will work a minimum of three days per week from the Fort Wayne or Indianapolis office.
Reports to the CTO.
Job Responsibilities:
Lead the full development lifecycle starting at discovery, through development and Launch
Communicate with clients and end-users to understand the need and pain points, with the purpose of defining the appropriate solution
Lead cross-functional meetings & standups to ensure alignment of the Development, Design Copy, SEO, QA and Account Executive teams
Lead a UI/UX team to ensure wireframes and high-fidelity designs are high quality, meet the client's expectations, and are delivered on time
Grow and lead the Product Organization at Ferguson Digital
Lead internal initiatives to build SaaS products as opportunities are identified
Partner with the Traffic Manager to keep roadmaps updated for multiple development teams
Utilize JIRA on a daily basis to manage projects
Partner with Development Team Leads to estimate projects and ensure on-time deliveries
Qualifications:
Superb verbal and written communication skills
Superb listening skills
4+ years of working as a Product Manager in a software organization
2+ years of leading a team of Product Managers and Designers
Ability to quickly build relationships with clients
Deep understanding of Agile and Waterfall development workflows
Self-driven individual with an understanding of levels of urgency, and with the ability to work in a fast paced environment without daily guidance
