A Project Manager will act as senior liaison for high-profile clients, prioritizing client satisfaction, promoting new services, setting targets, and ensuring healthy relationships exist between the company and its customers. They also follow up on complaints and questions from clients and present their performance to management and will oversee and manage client relationships and partnership.
Optimal candidates should have excellent interpersonal skills, confidence, and the ability to lead a team of 150+ janitorial staff. A top-notch national account manager will bring skills as a negotiator, problem solver, and thought leader to the table.
Duties / Responsibilities:
Building a trusting and professional relationship with clients
Lead and conduct meetings with clients and account managers
Ensuring that all accounts are looked after and maintained
Manage schedules and staffing levels
Following up on complaints and queries on behalf of clients
Promoting new services and products to clients in your area
Reporting to senior management on the status of your accounts
Trains and manages employees and vendors to ensure all client processes, procedures, guidelines, regulations, and expectations are adhered to
Develops and maintains strategic customer relationships
Serves as liaison between clients and departments / divisions
Conducts service review meetings with clients concerning company performance, vendor performance and potential process improvements
Surveys buildings for staffing purposes and cost evaluations
Maintains labor and account budgets
Examines work completion in accordance with contract deliverables
Monitors quality control throughout assigned facilities
Sustains focus on safety through onsite observations and / or inspections
Other duties as assigned or requested
Required Skills / Abilities:
Bachelor's degree preferred.
7-10+ years of experience as an operations specialist or in a similar role, including managing event janitorial
Experience at interfacing at all levels throughout an organization
PC literate - understanding of how to use the technology as a tool
Ability to communicate with all levels within a client's management structure.
Good team player and manager
Able to command credibility and be able to influence
Experience in janitorial industry preferred.
Experience managing multiple locations.
Must possess a valid driver's license.
Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate
Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality
