Job Title: Bilingual Administrative Assistant

Job Description: We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized individual fluent in both Japanese and English to join our supply chain team as a Bilingual Japanese Supply Chain Clerk. In this role, you will play a key role in facilitating communication between our company and our Japanese suppliers, as well as assisting with various administrative tasks related to supply chain management.

Responsibilities:
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for Japanese suppliers, communicating with them in Japanese to coordinate orders, shipments, and deliveries.
  • Translate documents, emails, and other communications between English and Japanese as needed to ensure clear and accurate communication.
  • Assist with the creation and maintenance of purchase orders, invoices, and other supply chain documentation.
  • Coordinate with logistics providers to arrange transportation and shipment of goods between Japan and our facilities.
  • Monitor inventory levels and assist with inventory management to ensure adequate stock levels are maintained.
  • Work closely with other members of the supply chain team to resolve any issues or delays that may arise during the procurement and transportation process.
  • Provide administrative support to the supply chain department, including filing, data entry, and other clerical tasks as needed.

Requirements:
  • Fluency in both Japanese and English, with the ability to communicate effectively in both languages, both orally and in writing.
  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, business administration, or a related field preferred.
  • Previous experience in supply chain management, logistics, or a related field preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software applications.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with suppliers and colleagues.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, as well as collaboratively as part of a team.
