Job Summary:
Promoting the mission of the research with a primary guiding principle of research participant safety, research participant well-being, and doing so with integrity and excellence to those we serve in Charlottesville, VA. The CRC Team Lead for the Gyn-Onc team performs a full range of clinical research duties including working with patients, leading CRC team meetings, record keeping, materials preparation, and reviewing of prospective research participants. Leads will also assist with training fellow CRCs on clinical trial-related activities, recruit, screen, and consent potential study participants, schedule study visits, prepare and maintain study documentation, collect data at all study visits, compile adverse event data, and manage all data collected. research protocols. The lead will be responsible for communicating effectively with study Sponsor(s). The Lead CRC will represent the team in-person by being present onsite for audits, FDA/Sponsor visits, etc.. They must be able and willing to communicate & meet with outside parties regularly.
