As part of the ongoing transformation and expansion of the global Operational Excellence, my dedicated and growing client is seeking an Operational Excellence Lead to reinforce the Group Supply Chain Team. This position will require travel up to 60% with the main HUB being Stoughton, Wisconsin.
Responsibilities:
The Group Operational Excellence Manager drives the Operational Excellence program in the Americas Division and Entities hand in hand with local organizations encompassing the following activities:
Understanding and building upon the successes and agreed plans of local organization
Developing and aligning a master plan (vision, strategy, milestones, goals for achieving Excellence in an expanded context likely beyond the Supply Chain (Best Practice Sharing, standardization as a major overarching theme of all processes established E2E, digitalization, and Change Management)
Further developing and driving the Operational Excellence Program for all divisions, subsidiaries, and locations to achieve world-class Excellence together with Head Group Operational Excellence and local management team
Leading teams and personally conducting large and complex transformation projects throughout the organization to achieve tangible and sustainable business results
Establishing proven 'Lean' approaches and methods, actively working and training colleagues
Supporting and functionally leading other excellence initiatives within the organization and potentially assuming this responsibility
Global collaboration with corporate, divisional, and local leadership
Training and coaching operational executives at all levels in methods and instruments of Business and operational excellence
Supporting a culture of continuous improvement and promoting cultural change through the application of Lean
Introducing Six Sigma, Shingo, and other proven continuous improvement methods as needed
Requirements:
Master's degree in Engineering, Chemistry, Physics or Operations with strong analytical skills
Strong background and practical experience in an operational environment, such as Operations Manager or a hands-on consultancy
Demonstrated and comprehensive leadership qualities in complex multidisciplinary project management. Proven change management ability in international teams
Expert on Lean Management methods (TPM/WCM) and various tools (Shingo, Hoshin Kanri, Policy Deployment), with a proven ability to apply them successfully. Familiarity with Lean-Six-Sigma methodology. Familiarity with value stream analysis inside and outside the company
Fluent in Spanish and English required
Other languages (such as Portuguese, German, French or Italian) are advantageous
Willingness to travel internationally (up to 60%) is required
