Basic Job Functions:
Nucor Steel-Hertford County is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Maintenance Supervisor. The successful candidate will be responsible for safety, equipment reliability, team member development and continuous improvement programs in the Maintenance Department.Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years heavy, industrial maintenance experience.
- Leadership Experience
Preferred Qualifications:
- Mechanical or Electrical maintenance experience in the steel industry.
- Minimum of 2 years Leadership/Supervisor Experience.
- Related engineering or technical degree.
