Akkodis is hiring for a Project Engineer for a company located in Sunbury, OH.
This position is a contract to hire opportunity that is required to be onsite in Sunbury, OH.
Salary range is $35.00-$55.00/hour.
Must be a US Citizen, no C2C
REQUIRED TECH EXPERIENCE:
1) SolidEdge or any 3D modeling e.g. Solid Works & CATIA
2) AutoCAD - their entire plant layout is in this
3) MS Presenting skills
4) Excel - they track and manage a lot of their projects through Excel files
Automotive background is highly preferable, with preference towards high volume assembly operations. Experience with Japanese transplants will be highly beneficial. Displays experience project managing capital investment projects and the budget associated with a project. Proven ability to manage multiple projects on a simultaneous basis and manage to a self developed schedule. Must be able to provide examples of project ownership from start to finish along with displaying examples of, project scope development, solution analysis through data gathering, Return on investment justification, preparing and managing a build schedule, managing to an install plan, training associates to a process, confirming quality and safety systems, troubleshooting process maturation issues. An individual with the ability to display a logical and systematic thought process. Strong troubleshooting skills. Strong communication and time management skills will be essential in this position. Ability to interface at multiple levels and operate within cross functional teams is critical. CAD skills are required, AutoCad at a minimum. Experience with Solid Edge is highly preferred. Experience with Lean Manufacturing methods is crucial. Experienced in developing poka-yokes and simple equipment modifications. Ability to reverse engineer product as required. - preferable Experience in designing and implementing solutions to production equipment problems, from simple modifications to complete equipment design and build issues. ? Exceptional skills in time and project management. Ability to give clear presentations of technical data up to executive level. Displays the skill to navigate communication across cultural boundaries. Discuss with vendors, staff and management personnel regarding purchases, procedures, product specifications, manufacturing capabilities and project status.
Minimum Education requirements: Four year engineering degree (mechanical or industrial or similar field) and min of 3 years related work experience.
