Our client is seeking an Engineering Technician who will reside within the Operations team, which is a diverse team responsible for building the best Focused Ion Bean (FIB) columns, Scanning Electron Microscope (SEM) modules and Wafer Dual Beam (WDB) systems in the world. This role is located in Hillsboro, OR.
Duties:
Material movement between groups and areas within the site
Document material location so that all groups are aware of current material location
Conduct First Article inspections on some parts and working with the OE team on others
Data collection on assembly yield based on final testing of the inspected parts
Provide written and verbal updates to the rest of the organization using Teams, email, and team meetings
Desired Skills/Experience:
1+ years of experience in an Operations environment
Knowledge of instrument assembly/testing and ability to use a microscope
Ability to switch tasks quickly as demands arise
High school diploma or equivalent required
Must be comfortable working in a cleanroom environment.
Able to use Microsoft products like Teams, Excel, and Word
